To participate in the 2010 Walt Disney World® Half Marathon (January 9th) or Marathon (January 10th), just raise $1,000 to help people living with Multiple Sclerosis and to fund reasearch for a cure!
The National MS Society is offering a full incentive program to all our participants who raise these fundraising minimums or more. More information on fundraising incentives will be posted soon. Also, your fundraising minimum automatically earns you a room at the Disney All-Star Music® Resort the night before your race! By staying on the Disney® property, you are close to the action and have access to all the Disney® transportation to get you to the Marathon and Half Marathon starting lines conveniently and hassle-free!
Once you've registered with the National MS Society and joined our team, the National MS Society will secure your registration for the Marathon or Half Marathon directly with Disney®. (Please note this registration does not occur until early November due to Disney®’s charity guidelines. Your registration is confirmed with the National MS Society once you receive a confirmation email from Ruth Graff, Director of Development, for the Mid Florida Chapter. Please do not make any travel arrangements until you receive this confirmation email from Ms. Graff)
When you register for the Marathon or Half Marathon with the National MS Society, you are committed to raise the fundraising minimum of $1,000. This minimum is set to ensure we raise vital funds for research and client programs. Remember, your non-refundable registration fee applies toward this fundraising minimum.

Registered participants have access to our powerful on-line fundraising tools to help you raise your funds quickly and easily. You can create your own personal fundraising web page, set your own goals, email your page to all your friends, family and contacts for them to donate online, check your progress toward your goal, and email thank you notes to your supporters! |
